Understanding this publication

Dated caption and background on the distinct C4 and C64 platforms.

The Facebook publication presents Monsenepwo’s response after meeting Augustin Kabuya. Its accompanying caption is signed 26 May 2026. That caption date is distinct from the dates of subsequent press reports.

Congo Fort reported his support for the C4 initiative on 27 May following the meeting. He presented his involvement as support for discussion of constitutional change and mobilisation around that position. This documents a political commitment in an institutional debate; it does not establish that any reform had been adopted.

The platforms’ names require care. On 20 May, Dépêche.cd reported the UDPS announcement of the Coalition des Congolais pour le Changement de la Constitution, abbreviated C4. The previous day, it reported the opposition’s launch of the Coalition Article 64, or C64, to defend the constitutional framework. These are distinct organisations advocating different positions.

The video belongs to this sequence of public interventions. This notice connects the retained caption with dated reporting that explains the surrounding debate. It is not a transcript of the recording. The exact wording, delivery and order of arguments should be checked in the original publication.

About playback

When the editors provide an MP4 file, it plays directly. Otherwise, the broadcaster’s player loads after your click and may transmit your IP address and cookies to that provider. If the platform asks you to sign in or verify, use the controls below the player to open the original post. The platform may still require that step on its own website.
