Understanding this publication
Pre-march position; indexed date and related written statement.
This intervention concerns the march announced for 15 September 2026 and the national dialogue. The catalogue retains 14 September as a publication reference found in Facebook’s public index. The original post header was not confirmed, so this remains different from a directly verified timestamp.
On 14 September, Dépêche.cd reported Monsenepwo’s support for dialogue and the presidency’s preparatory framework, alongside his criticism of opposition figures rejecting that approach.
The signed text published by Topdirect that day adds a useful qualification: Monsenepwo recognises the organisers’ right to march while calling for respect for other people’s freedom and public property. His disagreement concerns their political strategy and the rejection of consultations that he attributes to them. It should be read as his political position, not as a legal limitation on protest rights.
The documents place his preference for institutional consultation alongside public protest as a different political approach. They do not provide an account of the march’s outcome, since the event was still in the future when the statement was published. Nor do they establish a complete transcript of the video. The original publication remains the reference for the full argument.
